Rescue boat for the ARSU1 - Echo Valley

Amphibious Response Support Unit ONE is appealing for your assistance to help us acquire a Rescue Boat so that we can help save lives "in on and near the water".


The vessel which we are looking to put in services will be stationed at the Echo Valley Water Rescue Base & Training Center - Echo Valley Provincial Park, Saskatchewan.


The primary use of the vessel would be to support marine rescue (Search & Rescue) operations; assist boaters in distress and conduct patrols in an effort to promote water and boating safety.


Geographic area of operations and call outs:


The Calling Lakes of Saskatchewan (4 lakes totaling about 135 kilometers in length) located 80 km NE of Regina.


The vessel and crew may also be called as resource to assist other agencies (Fire-Rescue; Police; Conservation Officers; Public Safety) in the province if requested.


We need your help, so that we can provide life saving services to the communities we serve and beyond.

Vessel Description and Specifications

Based on our requirements we are in search of a vessel which includes the following specifications:

  • RHIB or RIB
  • Min 19 feet in length
  • Center Console Configuration
  • Crew: 2-3
  • Passengers:
  • Min 200 Hp or double 150 hp outboard engine(s)
  • Tow Reel and Bow Post
  • Trailer

Zodiac Hurricane models:

H590 (19.5 feet)

H733 (23 feet)

H630 (22 feet)

H753 (26 feet)

Or equivalent to the above
