What is operation Swift Response?

Operation SWIFT RESPONSE is our fundraising campaign launched by Amphibious Response Support Unit ONE with a goal to purchase a Fast Rescue Craft, so that we can help to save lives on lakes and rivers here in Saskatchewan, Canada.

The vessel which we are looking to put in services will be stationed at the Echo Valley Water Rescue Base & Training Center - Echo Valley Provincial Park, Saskatchewan. Our goal is to have the Fast Rescue Craft in service for the summer season of 2024.

The primary use of the vessel would be to support marine rescue (Search & Rescue) operations; assist boaters in distress and conduct patrols in an effort to promote water and boating safety.

Donations of $20 per name of individuals, or

$200 per business/organization are kindly requested.

How does it work?

Celebrate someone special by adding their name on our Fast Rescue Craft.

The name of the person you choose will be printed on DECALS with the words ARSU1 and RESCUE and located on both sides of the vessel). Please see section below!

1.Complete the online registration form (below).

2. Send an e-transfer to arsu@arsu.ca or

3. Make a cheque payable to ARSU1 and mail it to ARSU1 POBox 549 Fort Qu’Appelle Saskatchewan S0G 1S0 (in the memo or comments section please include the name of the person who will appear on the certificate).

4. Keep an eye on your email inbox. Soon after your donation has been received we’ll be sending your certificate. A certificate will be issued for each name you added. Print your certificate.

5. Follow us on Facebook, comment and share so that we can reach your followers.

It doesn’t end here...

By participating in this program, you will also be entered into a draw. When our program is completed and we reach our donation goal, 5 names of donors will be randomly selected and win an inaugural launch package which includes:

A trip on our Fast Rescue Boat for up to 5 people;
A photo op and chance to meet the members of ARSU1 and “K9 Gusztav”;
ARSU1 promotional gift package;
