About Us

ARSU1 provides services throughout Saskatchewan focusing on the Calling Lakes Qu’Appelle Valley Region. We are dispatched through First Responders in this region.

Our three pillars of service to the communities are:

1. · Response
2. · Education for water-ice and boating safety
3. · Environment

Our mandate:

• · To provide life saving services and technical rescue support in an effort to save lives, find missing persons and provide assistance during human-caused or natural catastrophes that involve water or ice and shorelines.
• · To assist other First Responder agencies and organizations.
• · To educate all members of the public in an effort to prevent accidents from occurring near and on the water. We engage recreational boaters, swimmers and beach goers through direct contact and prevention campaigns.  
• · To act as environmental stewards, assisting in environmental response, and providing awareness so that people visiting lakes and rivers can be mindful of their environment as it relates to inland water and the shoreline.
